Joann handles all digital communications tasks for Q-quatics. These include managing the Q-quatics, FishBase and SeaLifeBase email and social media accounts, including the Fish ID page; dissemination of scientific news related and relevant to FishBase, SeaLifeBase and AquaMaps; production of the Q-quatics newsletter and participation in the continuous development of the Q-quatics website.
In her spare time, Joann actively participates in the Volunteer Ministry of her church, Victory Los Baños, and enjoys doing strength workout, Yoga, Zumba, taking long walks, spending quality time with loved ones over coffee or dinner, binge watching her favorite TV shows, immersing in movie marathons, and going on occasional trips to the beach to reflect and unwind.
