Martin started his career as a Database Administrator for the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) prior to joining Q-quatics as a Software Engineer. At present, Martin works as the Database Manager for the Sea Around Us. He is directly involved in updating the Sea Around Us website by performing allocation runs, completing data requests for other organizations, institutions and individuals interested in the Sea Around Us data and is also responsible for extracting catch data for CMSY.
On top of this, he also handles the development and maintenance of the Q-quatics website.
In his free time, Martin loves going on long drives, exploring new destinations, and enjoying the breathtaking sceneries of his home country, the Philippines.
