Roesyvette Hernandez (BSc), Research Assistant

Recently hired as Research Assistant of DigIn –a project funded by the National Science Foundation of the United States of America in collaboration with the Florida Museum (University of Florida), Roesy’s main task is to document marine biodiversity through digitization of invertebrate collection particularly in the georeferencing working group of the marine and freshwater specimens from different partner museums/institutions. She is a Bachelor of Science in Biology fresh graduate from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, major in Systematics.

Roesy spends her spare time surfing the internet for cute aesthetic things, funny memes and scientific news specifically related to systematics or biodiversity, creating arts and crafts, playing with their dogs and going out with friends.
